Graham Chapman - A Talent Sorely Missed
So, erm... I made another video this afternoon. The ponderings after yesterday's Michael video wouldn't stop bothering me. Damn video-bunnies. So, I present to you:

Graham Chapman - A Talent Sorely MissedCollapse )

Definitely one of my favourite Pythons, a vessel through which genuis flowed... or flew. I'm not too hot on past tense of metaphors :o

A Michael Palin Tribute video, because I've been meaning to do one for an age.

For those of you who don't know (or are really cataclysmically dim) I have a ... slight obsession with the Pythons, but none so much as cute little Mike, so here's my first in a medium-sized line of tributes. Future features will include a Mike + Eric vid to the Scissor Sisters, something related to 'A Fish Called Wanda' and 'Fierce Creatures' (because I love Cleese/Curtis/Kline/Palin now too) and a Graham Chapman tribute, possibly to the soundtrack of his memorial speech.

Anyway, on with the Michaelness:

And now...Collapse )

Newbie! :)
Just joined! I'm a recently converted Monty Python fan, having just been in Toronto, Ontario to see "Spamalot" at the Canon Theatre. Of course, before I saw the show, I rented every Python film I could get my hands on and watched them so often I must have them completely memorized by now.

Anyway, some basic Python stats about myself:

Favourite Movie: The Holy Grail
Favourite Sketches: The fish-slapping dance, the French Taunter, the Knights of Ni, The Tale of Sir Lancelot, the Black Knight...(it could continue for a while)
Favourite Python: Eric Idle
Favourite Quote: "There are some who call me (long pause)...Tim." I also enjoy "I fart in your general direction!" and "Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!"

So yep, that's basically my Python life in a nutshell. I love meeting other Pythonheads, so please feel free to comment if you like.

HAVEATYOU! (Hehe, kidding).

I just sold my soul for the entire series run on DVD, and I love it. Totally worth it.

Favorite movie: Holy Grail
Favorite sketches: Ministry of Silly Walks, Upperclass Twit of the Year, The Bishop, Deja Vu, Fish-Slapping Dance
Favorite Python: Eric Idle. He begs to be idle-ized.

Favorite quote: From the sketch "The Time on BBC 1."

"Well, it's five past nine now. Nearly time for six past nine. On BBC 2, it'll shortly be six and a half minutes past nine. Later on this evening, it'll be 10:00 and at 10:30, we'll be joining BBC 2 in time for 10:33. And don't forget tomorrow, when it'll be 9:20. Those of you who've missed 8:45 on Friday will be able to see it again this Friday at a quarter to nine. Now here's a time check. It's six and a half minutes to the big green thing."

Hello England,
(and other countries like the U.S.) I just wanted to say hello again... I've been dying to quote Montey Python... but have had noone else to say it to. You see, by boyfriend, who owns this screename with me, has not seen The Holy Grail. I know, it's quite sad, really. But hopefullly we will watch it soon. So, I leave you with the rest of the song.

"Brave Sir Robin ran away. Bravely ran away, away.
When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled.
Then Brave Sir Robin turned about, and gallantly he chickened out.
Bravely taking to his feet he beat a very brave retreat,
Bravest of the Brave, Sir Robin.
I DIDN'T!!!"
